TREBLE CHOIR
This entry level choir is for freshman women only. We focus on the development of individual and choral vocal skills, as well as skills in music reading and theory. The Treble Choir performs five concerts and one competition each year.
 ADVANCED WOMEN'S CHOIR
This is an upper-level women’s choir for sophomores, juniors, and seniors. We continue to develop choral technique through more difficult music and heightened emphasis on performance. This choir performs at five concerts and two competitions each year. It also provides a place for a multitude of extra performance opportunities.
MEN'S CHOIR
This choir is for men only. We focus on the development of individual and choral vocal skills, as well as skills in music reading and theory. This choir performs at five concerts and two competitions each year. It also provides a place for a multitude of extra performance opportunities.
CONCERT CHOIR
This is Skyview’s flagship choir. Made up of upper-level men and women, the Concert Choir focuses on performance and competition. We continue to develop choral technique through more difficult music and increased opportunity for solo work. This choir performs at five concerts and two competitions each year. It also provides a place for a multitude of extra performance opportunities.
VOCAL JAZZ
This mixed choir is for upper-level classmen only. In Vocal Jazz, we develop virtuosity of individuals and the group through small ensemble work and competition. Entry into this small choir is by teacher recommendation only. This choir performs at five concerts and four competitions. |
